Lane of Dreams Farm is starting a new IEA Huntseat (Interscholastic Equestrian Association) travel horse show team for the 2024/2025 show season. Under the coaching of Jenny Steinmetz this team offers riders in grades 4-12 the opportunity to horse show in a travel and catch ride environment. Riders do not need their own horse to compete in IEA, instead they gain valuable experience while riding many different horses.
IEA offers many benefits such as $1.5 million in cash and renewable collegiate Scholarships awarded each season, National Youth Board and Leadership opportunities, Financial Aid and Grant opportunities, Individual and Team Advancement at Local, Regional, Zone, and National competitions, National Online Horsemanship Knowledge Program (National Hippology Academy), Access to additional events, clinics, college recruitment events, mentorships, volunteer opportunities, contests, and more.
Coach Jenny has past experience in the IEA, and coached futures and high school teams to regional championships in both 2015 and 2016.
